Catholic Charities' Elevating Families program offers life-changing resolutions for 2024

As the new year approaches, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is encouraging families to consider a resolution that could transform their lives. The Elevating Families program, launched last October, offers economic mobility mentoring to help families overcome challenges and achieve long-term success.

Despite a fairly mild winter with only a little snow on the ground, La Crosse's Catholic Charities Warming Center has seen an uptick in attendance. The warming center located on Third Street is open nightly at 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. and they've had to turn some people away due to limited capacity.
