
Mid-Michigan warming centers available as cold weather sets in

It’s getting cold outside and there are several people across mid-Michigan in need of a warm place to safely sleep during the winter months. That’s why local warming shelters are getting ready to take in more people. Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties sees about 120 people per night between its two shelters who are seeking refuge from the cold.
