Catholic Charities gets 4,200-pound food donation to fight hunger in Springfield

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Springfield in Illinois, recently received a 4,211-pound donation of food from Catholic Charities USA, according to a community announcement.

The donation, delivered by Sysco, included seven pallets of food, including vegetables, fruits, shelf-stable milk and staples such as pasta, rice, beans and soup. Some common household supplies were also delivered.
