Catholic Charities gives lecture on legal aspects of immigration
Published on April 16, 2026
The Justice and Advocacy Committee of Salida delved into the legal aspects and implications of immigration on April 7 at First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs.
The discussion was led virtually by legal experts from Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, who discussed why people feel the need to immigrate, such as being outpriced, politically repressed, natural disasters, repressive religions and inaccessibility to clean food or water.
