Catholic Charities Hunger and Relief Services is expanding its operations in northern Maine, partnering with churches to open new food pantries and breaking ground on a larger freezer as food insecurity continues to grow across the region.
Pallets of food move through Catholic Charities every month. Boxes are unloaded, freezers are packed and trucks are sent out to 40 different pantries and agencies throughout the county.
