Catholic Charities West Virginia makes request for warming shelter funding

Progress continues to be made to fully fund the operations of a Morgantown-area warming shelter during the winter. Catholic Charities West Virginia Grace Shelter Director Mindy Thorne formally requested the Monongalia County Commission to consider a contribution towards supporting the operations of a warming shelter inside of Hazel’s House of Hope on Scott Avenue during their regular meeting on Wednesday.
