A traveling museum featuring stories of community service opened Wednesday in Shreveport, giving visitors a look at how neighbors across the country help people facing hardship.
“People have the opportunity to see what it's like to be in the shoes of somebody who is in poverty or experiencing hardship and the choices that they have to make,” said Shelby McCarty, Catholic Charities of North Louisiana development director.
