Men test culinary talents to help others

The competitive bravado was high on Saturday evening but not as high as the hope of helping others.After a six-year hiatus, the Catholic Charities of Ashtabula County Men Who Cook fundraiser was back with a vengeance.


“Men Who Cook is back,” exclaimed CCAC Executive Director Jill Valentic as she got the fundraiser off to a start after so many years. She said the organization hosted the event from 2007 to 2019, then the coronavirus pandemic put the event on hold for many years.
