Mobile medical team brings hope and healing to the underserved community

In the early morning hours in Wheeling, a team gathers with one purpose -- to help those who feel forgotten. It's a group of volunteers -- physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician's assistants -- who exude medical knowledge and compassion.

They’re part of Project HOPE, which stands for Homeless Outreach Partnership Effort. It’s a mobile street medicine team that's been treating the city’s unhoused and underserved since 2015.
