Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada asks for support ahead of expected federal cuts

Each month, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada serves over 40,000 area residents, offering people like Kathy everything from canned goods to medical services.

But expected federal funding cuts will bring a $1.5 million shortfall to the nonprofit, which prompted CEO Marie Baxter to send out a call for support.
