A new program is empowering Spokanites who come from low-income families to plan, set up and grow their own small businesses.

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington (CCEW), in partnership with Gonzaga University, is launching the Spokane Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Network (SEEN).

Support sessions are this fall for those who’ve lost a loved one to suicide

Benita Triplett, LISW from Catholic Charities in Sioux City, says more people than ever have experienced losing someone to suicide.The organization Catholic Charities is working to provide support to members of the community through a free support group. The sessions are open for adults, ages 18 and up, who have lost a loved one to suicide at least 30 days before.
