Utica-based Catholic Charities of Oneida & Madison Counties celebrated a century of service in the Mohawk Valley with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 25 hosted by the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.
"For the past century, Catholic Charities of Oneida and Madison Counties has served as a beacon of hope for individuals and families in our community who are challenged with housing and economic insecurity, loneliness, and the sense of pain and isolation that individuals with behavioral health needs often feel," said Jack Callaghan, the nonprofit's executive director.
