Amid permanent supportive housing funding uncertainty, young adults find comfort in homeless shelter

A warm, fuzzy feeling can be hard to come by for young adults experiencing homelessness, but for some at Catholic Charities’ Hope Street shelter, it arrived on four legs.

Em Lucier has been staying at Hope Street, an emergency homeless shelter for young adults ages 18 to 24, for nearly two months. The shelter is the largest of its kind in Minnesota.
