
Louisville organizations receive $4.5M to combat family homelessness in the city

About a dozen Louisville organizations received a huge boost to help the homeless around the city.
The Coalition for the Homeless awarded a total of $4.5 million to 10 local agencies to fight family homelessness in Louisville.
The money is coming from the Bezos Day 1 Families Fund, and will for the next four years. The funds will go toward rapid rehousing, family shelter expansion, transitional housing, case management, and will provide assistance to unhoused families.
