Catholic Charities' new purchase increases donations for St. Cloud food shelf

Catholic Charities upgraded its food rescue program as part of a broader effort to improve its food shelf.

The organization bought a new truck in April, which is at dock height for easier loading and unloading. It also bought a new mobile food shelf bus on July 30 and is in the process of preparing the bus to meet customers where they're at. Emergency Services Program Manager Eric Vollen said more information on the new bus will be available once it's ready to be used.
