New meal provider comes to Washoe County School District

As a new school year quickly approaches, Washoe County School District students will be seeing some nutritious meals, with a variety of options and even a chance to offer feedback. 

Southwest Foodservice Excellence has partnered with WCSD to be their newest meal provider.

Catholic Charities upgraded its food rescue program as part of a broader effort to improve its food shelf.The organization bought a new truck in April, which is at dock height for easier loading and unloading.
