Ribbon-cutting ceremony held for new resource in fight against food insecurity

On Tuesday, Union Health and the Lugar Center for Rural Health held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Food Locker at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

It’s for patients who are screened as food insecure during intake. Once the patient is discharged from the hospital, they can pick up a bag of food from the locker. The food is provided by Terre Haute Catholic Charities.
