
St. Paul: Randolph Avenue homeless encampment has grown by at least 100

When St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her’s office made the decision to begin clearing the city’s three largest homeless encampments this summer, city officials were determined to avoid a worst-case scenario of sorts. No one wanted to see residents of Pig’s Eye Regional Park, the city’s largest tent community and the first slated for closure, simply relocate to a more dispersed camp located throughout the woods off freight tracks by Randolph Avenue and Shepard Road.
